Instructions for Longevity

Your Bigwhales Dungarees are an investment in quality, designed to get softer and more comfortable with every wash. Follow these simple steps to ensure your premium piece lasts for years.

Washing

• Go Cold: Always wash in cold or lukewarm water (max $30^{\circ} \text{C} / 86^{\circ} \text{F}$). Hot water can cause natural fibers to shrink.

• Gentle Cycle: Machine wash using the delicate/gentle cycle. For extra protection, turn your dungarees inside out.

• Use Mild Soap: Choose a mild, eco-friendly detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, and fabric softeners, as they can damage the hemp fiber and reduce its natural benefits.

Drying

• Air Dry is Best: Hang or lay flat to air dry. Hemp dries quickly and this method prevents shrinkage and saves energy.

• Avoid Direct Sun: Dry in the shade to prevent fading of the natural dyes and fibers.

• Tumble Dry (If Necessary): If you must use a dryer, select the lowest heat setting and remove the dungarees while still slightly damp.

Ironing & Storage

• Iron on Low: Iron on a low or medium setting while the fabric is still slightly damp. Ironing on the reverse side is recommended.

• Spot Treat: Treat stains immediately with a mild soap and cold water; do not use bleach.

• Store Freely: Store folded or hang in a cool, dry place.
